The Hindustan Software Limited offers summer in-plant training for engineering students studying in electrical and electronics, electronics and communication, computer science and information technology streams. Students studying in any year can take up the programme.

The programme (10 days, 2 hours per day) focuses on subjects including nanotechnology, Knowledge Engineering, Information Security, and Software Development Life Cycle. There will be lectures by subject experts and guest lectures and direct interaction with industry technocrats. In addition to lectures, there will be field visits, and interaction with industry technicians. An online psychometric test will also form part of the programme. On completion of the course, candidates will be given a certificate.

An online psychometric test to assess students' skills and occupational inclination is alsoincluded in this programme.
